Account Manager Nederland (m/v/d)

Purpose of the role

Resinex is a PAN-European distribution company with a leading position in the plastics and rubbers distribution market in the whole of Europe and Turkey. Resinex grew from a local Belgian team to an international group, not only by constantly seeking opportunities, but also by investing in its people. Resinex is part of Ravago, a leading international player within recycling and distribution of plastics, rubber and chemicals.

The main purpose of the role for an Account manager is:

  • Act as an interface between customers and suppliers by providing proactive commercial advice and support
  • Promote the product portfolio and grow new business by translating customer requirements to product development specifications for all products in the portfolio


  • You are fluent in Dutch & English language
  • You have preferably a technical Bachelor or Master degree and/or commercial experience in polymer sales
  • You have a ‘Customer is King’ mindset
  • You are eager to learn portfolio brands and are willing to visit customers frequently
  • By nature, you are a team player with a proactive problem-solving approach, strong sense of ownership and strong communication skills
  • You are willing to work in an international company, and travel abroad occasionally

Principal responsibilities

  • Commercial and technical support of a defined customer portfolio in the North + East part of The Netherlands
  • Proactive customer acquisition in the region
  • Screening customer requirements and selection of appropriate material
  • Full responsibility for the budget, volume and margin in the dedicated sales area
  • Planning and tracking of customers activities in our CRM system
  • Keeping up to date in latest polymer processing techniques and market trends
  • Close cooperation with the inside sales team and local product managers
